Writer Miss Macross blends the personal and the universal into a goopy, glittery mash-up of pulpy poetry. Topics include facing fear and love, living with anxiety and depression as a woman in Pittsburgh, and investigating the cryptic and creepy things in the universe.
Miss Macross is a multi-genre writer, workshop facilitator for Girls Write Pittsburgh, and host of the Hell’s Lid Reading Series. She was selected by The Incline as part of their 2018 class for “Who’s Next in Pittsburgh Art.” Her work has been published by or is forthcoming in Soft Cartel, Sad Girl Review, and other publications. Her first chapbook, Miss Macross vs. Batman, was published by CWP Collective Press in 2018.
