In its third manifestation of the project, the Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership is creating a temporary painted mural on the street surface of Strawberry Way in Downtown Pittsburgh. This opportunity provides local artists Shane Pilster and Max Gonzales, working with the PDP and Pittsburgh CAPA students as part of an artist residency, to produce a temporary mural on this major pedestrian thoroughfare, highlighting its use and enhancing its aesthetics in the summer of 2022 — just in time for live painting during the Three Rivers Arts Festival! Generously supported by the Uncommon and Curated Fund.
