Andy Warhol used images from magazines, newspapers, and publicity photographs as well as “underpainting” and the photographic silkscreen process to create many of his famous portraits. This activity mimics Warhol’s process by using colored paper to “underpaint” and an acetate to “silkscreen" pop portraits of your own!
