Bill has been fascinated by astronomy and space since he was very young and this is a way of portraying his interests of the universe to others. These are photographs taken by Bill (Not Hubble) with his telescope and cameras. The images he produces are derived of particles of light traveling millions of years from distant worlds being captured through a telescope by the CCD chip of his camera. This is a technical art involving science and artistic creativity to produce imagery of objects distant and larger than most of us can even imagine. Bill believes this is a way to reveal the wonders of the universe and the sense that we are only a small part of a grand design and our ability to explore this new world is only just beginning. Bill has been producing astrophotography for the last 12 years. He has had many of his images published in magazines, books, movies, museum exhibits, and websites (including NASA). This is art that brings a new perspective to our relationship with the Universe.
