Wooden topographic maps are an accurate representation of a geographic region. Carved from solid hardwoods and finished by hand, maps range in size from a refrigerator magnet to large wall hangings. Maps are made using data from the US Geological Survey and is an accurate representation of the area: every mountain, valley, river, and other feature is a real part of the landscape. The map is made from sustainably harvested hardwood and finished with natural oil. Maps are rough cut with a computer controlled router and then lovingly hand sanded and oiled. Every map is made in the USA, in a one-person shop in Dravosburg, PA.
