Every artist has supplied us with their preferred website for doing business, so they will all be different. You’ll see Etsy shops, personal websites and, in some cases, you’ll be directed to email artists to discuss purchases. You can find links to the right on a computer or tablet and below on a phone.
The artist's studio creates handwoven tailored cotton clothing for women, men and children in sizes petites to plus. Cotton yarns are wound on one of the artist's seven 50" wide looms in a length of 45 yards, 500 threads across. After the loom is threaded, it takes 10 throws of the shuttle for each inch, 360 times per yard. After being woven, the fabric is cut off the loom, preshrunk, dried, pressed and readied for the cutting table, where the artist cuts each part of the garment, one piece at a time. The pieces are then sewn into the final garment.
