Every artist has supplied us with their preferred website for doing business, so they will all be different. You’ll see Etsy shops, personal websites and, in some cases, you’ll be directed to email artists to discuss purchases. You can find links to the right on a computer or tablet and below on a phone.
The artists use the lost wax casting method. All pieces are handcarved then molded. When the mold is set they melt the wax out, leaving a perfect cavity for material to be poured into. All of their pieces are a one time mold. The glass and silver are cast separately and fixed together using a clear epoxy. When the glass comes out of the kiln, the artists grind the backs flat and sandblast the fronts. They cast the sterling silver using centrifugal arm caster, file, and polish it. The glass fully backed by the silver, which gives a unique glow.
