A NOTE FROM THE ARTIST ABOUT MATERIALS AND TECHNIQUE: "Pelleted glass is melted in a furnace to 2100F. Molten glass is gathered on a blow pipe and hand-shaped with wet newspaper or wooden blocks. Lattacino cane and murrini are all handmade by the artist."
