Arachne by Carol Clay and Mac Chambers

Dates

Friday, June 03 - Tuesday, June 07

A NOTE FROM THE ARTIST ABOUT MATERIALS AND TECHNIQUE: "Wearable art made using traditional looms and weaving techniques. Each piece is comprised of natural fibers blending four to 60 colors in design palettes inspired by colors in nature. "Painting with yarn" the wide range of colors and fibers used appeals to a large variety of tastes. All work is designed and produced in our two-person studio. In addition, we weave shawls and scarves from 100% organically raised cotton that is grown naturally in four colors...the "greenest" clothing available."
