A NOTE FROM THE ARTIST ABOUT MATERIALS AND TECHNIQUE: " My art style is meant to mimic the aesthetic of lino block print and I achieve this effect by drawing in Photoshop. In Photoshop, I set up each image in layers; a painted sky background, then the dark layer of all solid objects, and lastly my mark making over top. The dark layer is important because it acts like a backdrop that helps the colors pop, giving my work the "glow" effect. Then my crosshatching or line-making over top creates the traditional printmaking look. No filters or special brushes are used to create each piece."
