A NOTE FROM THE ARTIST ABOUT MATERIALS AND TECHNIQUE: "I weld metal frames as wall sculptures using a combination of metals such as steel rod, bronze rod and brass. I then craft copper enameled shapes by converting my artwork into glass powders. The powders are sifted onto copper shapes with each individual powder being a different color in the design. After sifting, I fire the copper shape in a 1600 deg furnace causing the powder to become a liquid glass and to fuse into the copper. The finished shapes are then welded into the metal frames."
