A NOTE FROM THE ARTIST ABOUT MATERIALS AND TECHNIQUE: "My work explores the intersections of the natural world and the human experience. Through my paintings, I aim to create a sense of wonder and connection to the environment, while also shedding light on the impact of human actions on the planet. I hope to inspire people to recognize our deep connection with the earth, in hopes of invoking the desire to protect our only home. My process begins intuitively, and I allow each work to change as it develops. I strive to create pieces that not only resonate artistically, but also provoke thought and inspire action. My goal is to create a bridge between the viewer and the natural world, encouraging a deeper understanding and appreciation of our planet and our place within it."
