Half Hour Gentlemen

Pittsburgh, PA

Dates

Wednesday, June 07 - Sunday, June 11
A NOTE FROM THE ARTIST ABOUT MATERIALS AND TECHNIQUE: "The two ladies who are Half Hour Gentlemen Collage create mixed media collages inspired by two-dimensional images from anywhere and everywhere; including, but not limited to, newspapers, magazines, adverts, illustrations, and photographs. We have a penchant for the odd, which is evident in our surrealist art. Our collaboration began by realizing that we individually love the collage process. From there, we began passing unfinished pieces back and forth, sharing materials and exploring what we could create when two like-minded artists join forces. Our hope is that our pieces make people smile, think, and maybe even chuckle. Our collage collection includes wood plaques, repurposed cigar boxes, earrings, magnets, postcards, and prints."
