A NOTE FROM THE ARTIST ABOUT MATERIALS AND TECHNIQUE: "East Wheeling Clayworks specializes in wheel thrown and hand built ceramic items that are both functional and a beautiful addition to your everyday life. Operating out of our 860 square foot studio, we undertake all aspects of creation ourselves, from the first steps of production to reclaiming scraps of clay to minimize our impact on the world. We pride ourselves that every item we make comes from the hands of a skilled maker and we are constantly evolving our business to rely less and less on commercially available glazes in leu of creating our own signature line."
