Artist Statement on Material & Technique: "I create handmade paper art pieces: pop up cards, 3D layered cut paper art, stationary, and hand bound picture books, featuring original digital collage illustrations. To create the imagery, I start with a sketch, scan it, and then build the final illustration from a collage of original photography and digital painting techniques. I print, cut, and assemble all of the final products in my home studio, using archival pigment-based giclee printing and heavyweight matte papers."
