Artist Statement on Material & Technique: "My husband and I own/operate a 100 acre farm with 20 alpacas that we raise for companionship and fiber. I create large felted fabric designs to cut and sew into vests, shawls and scarves. Also in my farm studio I make needle felted purses and tote bags. Each design is unique and liners are matched to the specific designs. The pieces are then assembled to create a unique display of functional art. I also purchase alpaca material to cut, sew and finish into 3 different styles of wraps ~ ruanas, mobius' and asymmetrical shawls. I also have a small selection of needle felted figurines and charactures."
