Squonk creates joyful, boisterous outdoor spectacles by fusing fantastical visual design, playful staging, and high-energy original music. Led by Co-Artistic Directors Jackie Dempsey and Steve O’Hearn, Squonk is currently touring Hand to Hand, a humorous, uplifting visual extravaganza propelled by rollicking music. The New York Times called Squonk “ingenious, hallucinatory and hypnotic.”

Co-commissioned by the Kennedy Center (Washington, D.C), Artscape (Baltimore, MD), Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership (Pittsburgh, PA), Moraine Valley Fine & Performing Arts Center (Chicago, IL), FirstWorks (Providence, RI), and Discovery Green (Houston, TX).
