Lea Marra & The River Boys are a high-energy folkgrass band inspired by a wide range of genres, including country, bluegrass, blues, jazz, folk, jam bands, and rock.

Lea Marra brings her unique tone and powerful vocals to the stage, often drawing comparisons to Stevie Nicks, Bonnie Raitt, Alanis Morissette, Natalie Maines, Susan Tedeschi, and, at times, Dolores O’Riordan. Her songwriting is influenced by artists such as Sierra Ferrell, The Chicks, Hot Rize, Dolly Parton, and Tyler Childers.

Marra’s songs reflect her life in the Rust Belt of Cleveland, Ohio, and the people she has met along the way. She finds inspiration in her surroundings and the strength of nature.

The River Boys bring Marra’s songs to life with energetic, bluegrass-driven licks, memorable melodies, and occasional five-part harmonies.

Lea Marra & The River Boys had a standout year in 2024, beginning with the release of their debut album, Ace Of Cups, in March. Following the release, the band earned opportunities to perform on notable stages alongside regional and local legends.
