A NOTE FROM THE ARTIST ABOUT MATERIALS AND TECHNIQUE: "I am a self taught fiber artist specializing in macramé. Using cotton cord I create intricate wall hangings and plant hangers. Sometimes I will add other fibers such as wool, silk and jute for additional color and texture. My favorite part about the craft is the process of creating something from nothing. I begin most of my pieces with a very vague idea- or no idea at all- of what want it to look like in the end, I just start knotting away and it's fun to see how the knots come together to create something beautiful."
