Artist Statement on Material & Technique: "I am an underwater photographer who utilizes scuba to take my images. I use an underwater housing for my canon camera system. I have advanced technical diving certifications which allow me to photograph uncommon places and things. I also print all of my images myself with my own large format printer. I do prints on photo paper and mat them as well as stretched canvas options. The goal of my art has always been, and always will be, to transport the viewer to a different world. I want people to see and experience our oceans in a different way. To see our underwater world is to care about it. Everyone should be able to see the beauty our water world holds even if they cannot get there themselves."
