Artist Statement on Material & Technique: "I use assemblage & collage techniques to create one off lighting, accessories, framed and illuminated industrial drawings, sculpture and furniture utilizing my extensive collection of original industrial artifacts with provenance. I provide a connection to the past lives of these pieces, some through my personal or professional photographs, original plant documentation, and in some cases plant logs that provide you the exact date of creation and utility of the artifacts I use. My reverence for USA workers & industry and sense of preservation lets me deliver an original, virtually intact artifact that I transform into upcycled art. Much of the works are functional and practical pieces"
