Specialty Concessions operates the Food Courts in Point State Park and Gateway Center during the Festival. Opportunities for new food vendors and restaurateurs to participate within these Food Courts are limited.
Minimally, all Concessions participants must be able to service a very large volume of customers (500,000 visitors attend the Festival over 10 consecutive days), work around 12 hours per day, and meet minimum environmental standards. Environmental requirements include providing completely compostable serviceware. Locally-sourced and organic products are also encouraged. Additionally, all participants must provide their own booth and equipment, including cooling, cooking, and washing necessities.
